Postcard Designs

Postcard designs can have a great impact on your response rates. You only get one glance so you want to make the most of it.

Prepared Mail® offers hundreds of free templates that have been tested and approved.

Here are some tips to keep in mind when putting your postcard design to work:

  1. Benefits - You want to show immediately how your product or service will benefit your audience.  Instead of saying “lower your mortgage rate” you may want to say “Save you money”. (image)
  2. Your offer – Your offer is the focus of why are you sending this out.  It should consist of two things.
    1. Your product or service
    2. Your coupon or discount. (image)
  3. Call to action – Use an action statement telling prospects what you want them to do.  Examples include: “Call today” “Visit our sale” “Go to our website!” (image)
  4. Headline –There should be a singular, concise message on the non-address side of the mailer.  A picture supporting the message should be easily identified.  The message should present a solution to a problem. (image)
  5. Subheadings.  Subheadings serve 2 purposes
    1. Make the prospect want to read more.
    2. Guide them through reading the rest of your marketing piece. (image)
  6. Contact Information – Make sure your address, phone number and website are clearly displayed. (image)
